Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the interests and differences in entrepreneurship interests based on a gender perspective. Design/methodology/approach: The research method was designed with a descriptive approach and different tests using primary data. Primary data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique with a linkert scale. Findings: The results showed that the level of Advertisy Quotien, Self Efficacy, Need for Achievement, and Entrepreneurial Intention between men and women was quite high. In this study also found no differences in Advertisy Quotien, Self Efficacy, Need for Achievement, and Entrepreneurial Intention between men and women. Research limitations/implications: The research sample was taken from the city of South Tangerang by random technique Practical implications: In a gender view or study, entrepreneurship has no influence or difference between men and women. that is, all people whether male or female have the same level of ability and ability in entrepreneurship. Abstract

Purpose: This paper discusses the disadvantages of online learning in the context of studio practice -based that focuses on practical skills. Discussions are made by looking at various angles of teaching and learning toward the online method and its implications for the field of Visual Arts. Among the aspects discussed are social isolation, limited feedback, focus on theory rather on practice, lack of flexibility, and lack of transformational power. In general, online learning can only serve as a supporting method to the field of Visual Arts that focuses on the construction of practical skills, where conventional learning method which is characterized by practice-based learning is more appropriate and effective. Design/methodology/approach: Review approach. Findings: The best practices for online learning courses are still evolving and are much more difficult to implement especially in terms of learning methods that would be suitable and effective for all areas. Direct training, standard methods, approaches and processes through practice-based are the best practices and are much more established, well understood and more effective for teaching and learning in Visual Arts. Practical implications: Developing a truly effective online learning course requires time, money, and a huge amount of expertise. Good online learning courses involve multimedia, specialized web development, technical support, and strong user interaction design. If done incorrectly, it will disrupt and negatively impact the learning process because of the lack of time concentrations and space limitations. Originality/value: This paper is original. Abstract

Purpose: Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus in Wuhan, China. Due to this pandemic, almost all countries in Southeast Asia had executed either lockdown or state of emergency action. However, an online marketplace via an E-Commerce platform is still needed to operate and also directly affected by this pandemic. Therefore, this overview reveals the impacts of the top 3 E-commerce platforms during pandemic COVID-19 with regard to the consumers in the Southeast Asia region (specifically in Malaysia, Indonesia & Thailand). Design/methodology/approach: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the revenue of E-commerce platforms companies might be slightly a bit dropped due to uncertainty factors in the countries that have been affected by this virus. Indeed many countries around the globe already implemented and still progressing either lockdown or state of emergency protocol. In this study, we selected the top three E-commerce platforms in Southeast Asia namely Lazada, Shopee, and Tokopedia. Findings: The results found that there were several initiations by them to battle against COVID-19. In addition, there are still a lot of improvements that can be effectively played by them. Research limitations/implications: This research is a literature review research. Practical implications: The result of this research can be used as references to run a digital business. Abstract

Purpose: This study focuses on how online learning can aid in the development of the Augmented Reality (AR) technology, "Mar-Care”, which possesses features that will attract elementary students to learn Makaton. Makaton is a Sign Language whose inception dates back to around 1972/73 and it was meant to be used by people with learning disabilities to help develop language and communication skills. This study online learning involves AR technology and the use of Padlet as e-learning platforms a forum for students to discuss and express their opinions. Design: The methods used throughout the production of Mar-Care application technology education learning online tools are the Padlet platform. Findings: Visual representation of the basic hand gestures through 3D animation is shown on the Padlet to explain online learning Research limitations: This study has developed an online medium for online learning. Practical implications: A large number of software used to produce online learning tools successfully make the discussion space between students and teachers. Paper type: Research Paper

Abstract

Purpose: In the midst of the policy of Merdeka Belajar era Menteri Nadiem Makarim, we are died with the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19). The policy in place is to study at home. It's been more than two weeks of schooling we've had off, but the learning process of teaching continues through activities at home. Teachers teach from their own homes, students study in their homes. Home learning can use self-learning models, online learning, ICT-assisted learning, or other forms. Design/methodology/approach: Our research uses a type of qualitative research that explores data according to the facts that occur in the field with data collection methods through interviews, observations and documentation to obtain the results of research that occurs in schools and campuses during the coronavirus lockdown/ covid 19 Findings: The online learning process has brought creativity to students, students and teachers and lecturers both through school work and community service activities in order to jointly find solutions to the prevention of coronavirus/covid 19 outbreaks. For example students make masks for themselves and donated to the community, some make their own hand wash soap at home and there are community service activities by making hand wash sinks. Research limitations/implications: This research is conducted in the early phase of pandemic. The condition may change at the end of pandemic. Practical implications: We propose that educational institutions should be able to uncover lockdown during the covid-19 pandemic wisely. Find the right solution to solve these online learning problems with creativity and thoughtful solutions. Originality/value: This paper is original. Paper type: Research paper

Abstract

Purpose: this study aims to examine the relationship between site quality variables and trust in Tokopedia consumer repurchase interest in Surabaya through the mediating variable of perceived usefulness. Design/methodology/approach: This is a quantitative study and the data will be analysed through partial Least Square (PLS). Findings: 5 out of 7 hypotheses cannot be proved and supported by this study Research limitations/implications: The respondent of this study are 95 Tokopedia user. Practical implications: Only 2 out of 7 hypotheses can be proved and supported. Paper type: This study is categorised as a case study.

Abstract

Purpose: This research is motivated by the rise of commerce via the internet or so-called electronic commerce (E-commerce). From a businessman's point of view, this is an opportunity for them to increase their business by creating an online shop that is included in several marketplaces. Electronic Word of Mouth (e-wom) includes testimonials from someone who has bought, then there are also figures who are fond of using the product, namely Celebrity endorsers and student lifestyle. The purpose of this study is to reveal how these aspects influence buying interest. Design/methodology/approach: The method in this study uses a quantitative approach by describing multiple linear regressions. The sample research method used is non-probability sampling with the consideration that all populations cannot be used as a sample. The sample obtained was 200 students. Findings: Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of E-WOM on the interest in buying online shop products, there is a significant influence of celebrity endorse on the interest in buying online products, there is a significant influence of lifestyle on the interest in buying online shop products, there is an effect of E-WOM, Celebrity Endorse. and lifestyle simultaneously on the interest in buying online shop products. Research limitations/implications: All respondents of this research are student. Practical implications: Result of this research can be used as references in creating interest in buying online product. Originality/value: This paper is original. Paper type: Research Paper.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student satisfaction with academic services (X1), and administrative services (X1) Ikip Widya Darma Surabaya. Simultaneously or partially, and determine the most dominant variable affecting student satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative with a sample of 100 students. Respondents in this study were students who took education in Surabaya, amounting to 100 respondents. Based on the results of the research obtained from an overview of the identity of the response based on age and gender. reliability with the results of three variables is reliable. Academic services and administrative services have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction. This is shown from the t test of partial hypothesis testing between X1 variables (academic services) showing t count (5.669)> t table (1.984). This means that the test variable X1 (academic service) affects Y (student satisfaction). Administrative services have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction. This is shown by the partial hypothesis testing t test between X2 variables (administrative services) showing t count (5.669)> t table (1.984). This means that the test variable X2 (administrative services) affects Y (student satisfaction). Academic services and administrative services simultaneously or together have an effect on student satisfaction. This is shown by the F test with the calculated F value (33,629)> f table (3.09)

Abstract

Civic education is a subject and course that has a great responsibility in building the character of democracy and the tolerance of students, because civic education is a moral education and must be administered at every level of education from elementary to college. Civic education is subjects and courses of moral education that should be able to minimize even the conflict among learners. This research uses the method of literature analysis with grounded theory is a qualitative research method that uses a number of systematic procedures to develop a theory compiled inductive. Research grounded theory, this research inductive research techniques, emphasizes observation and develops a base of "intuitive" relationship practices between variables. Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to describe the character of environmental awareness of character education and finding model of the development of character strengthening. Design/methodology/approach: This method uses descriptive qualitative, data collection by in-depth interviews, surveys, observations, and documentation by observing the development of the character of environment. The data sources are principals, teachers, students, and parents. Efforts can be made by playing methods included in the curriculum for local content such as Ethics and Introduction to the Environment. The nature of concern for the environment will be increasingly imprinted if in addition to education at school while at home, parents of students also motivate, give advice and role models to care for the environment and will be more effective when collaborated formal and informal education. The data validity technique uses technique and source triangulation through data display, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. Finding: The results are 1) the development of the school curriculum includes self-development programs, integration in subjects, and school culture (school local content, living drug stores, parks, spaces and offices, inspiration to understudies, use of endowments and disciplines, and character advancement, caring , and Responsibility); 2) Input from stakeholders to strengthen environmental care character education for students; 3) The model of developing character of environmental care in vocational students. Research limitations/implications: Result of this research can be used as references to increase environmental caring through character education in vocational school Practical implications: The conclusion that Vocational Schools have implemented character education is the presence of strategies, ideas and nature-based learning, and the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure.
